The Life & Legacy Mobile Tour is a companion to the ongoing installation profiling the museum’s founder. The tour allows visitors to continue exploring the life of Getty in front of his collection, throughout the entire campus.
J. Paul Getty Collects features engaging content about the objects Getty himself purchased. At each stop, visitors explore the significance of the work, alternate views, hidden meanings, anecdotal content, and excerpts from Getty’s diaries—passages where he discusses the object are highlighted, and include transcripts for clarity.
J. Paul Getty Stories offers personal narratives of Getty’s life, business, and art collecting process, supplemented with video, audio, and historic imagery.
